Swerts made this arrangement at the request of pianist Jan Vermeulen, who performed it live on the Belgian classical radio Klara many years ago. The four-hands combination offers more possibilities, transforming this majestic piece into even more virtuosity and orchestral color.
The edition provides two separate editions for each part, one in such a way that each pianist can turn themselves the page while playing.
